Three dreaded criminals, who were involved in hurling hand grenades at a police outpost in Punjab’s Gurdaspur district, were arrested after seriously injured in retaliatory firing by police in UP’s Pilibhit district early morning on Monday, confirmed UP Police Additional Director General, Law and Order, Amitabh Yash. He said the trio have been rushed to a local hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
All three injured are claimed to be members of Khalistan Commando Force.
He said two AK-47 assault rifles and two Glock pistols along with a huge cache of ammunition were recovered from them.
The three accused identified Gurwinder Singh (25), Virendr Singh alias Ravi (23), and Jasan Preet Singh alias Pratap Singh (18), all residents of Gurdaspur, Punjab, were hiding in Pilibhit after the attack on police outpost.
